Overview

Coastal Glân Services ("we", "us") provides holiday-let, family home, and commercial cleaning across Anglesey, Bangor, Caernarfon, Llanberis, Conwy. We collect only the minimum information needed to respond to enquiries, arrange bookings, and deliver our cleaning service. We never sell your data.

This policy covers this website and the personal information we collect while arranging and carrying out a clean. It doesn't cover anything else you might tell us informally, like in a text message about a specific job.

For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

Quote and enquiry form submissions. Your name, business name (if given), the type and location of the property, number of bedrooms (where relevant), your email address or phone number, and the message you send us. We use this to reply to your enquiry and, if you book with us, to arrange the clean.

Booking and access details. Once you're a client, we hold what we need to actually get into the property and do the work — [PLACEHOLDER: describe exactly what's held and how, e.g. "the property address, and any access details such as a keysafe code or key-holder contact, held only for as long as we're cleaning for you"]. We don't share this with anyone outside what's described below.

Changeover photos. Where our photo-report is part of the service, we take timestamped photos of each room during a clean and send them to the property owner. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm how long photos are kept after sending — e.g. "deleted from our phone/device once sent, and not stored elsewhere"].

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track you across other websites. The data we see is aggregated — we cannot identify individual visitors from it.

Operational data. Standard server and security logs generated by our hosting provider, needed to keep the site available and protect it from attack.

Why we're allowed to use it (lawful basis)

• Enquiry and quote forms: legitimate interest — you contacted us and expect a reply.
• Booking, access, and photo-report details: performance of a contract — we need this information to actually deliver the clean you've booked.
• Analytics and security logs: legitimate interest in understanding and protecting our own website, using tools chosen specifically because they do not track individuals.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into a booking are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request, then deleted within [PLACEHOLDER: e.g. "12 months"].

For clients, we keep booking and access details for as long as we're cleaning for you, and [PLACEHOLDER: e.g. "for up to 6 years afterwards for tax and accounting purposes — access codes and similar details are deleted as soon as the arrangement ends, rather than kept with the rest of the record"].

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to what we're required to keep for accounting purposes.

Who else touches your data

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this site and business. They process data only on our instructions:

• Cloudflare — hosting, security, and website analytics
• Resend — sends us the email generated by the enquiry form

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics or marketing cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes, which don't require your consent under UK law. That's why you won't see a cookie banner here.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete your data
• stop or limit how we use it
• object to our use of it

Email hello@coastalglanservices.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Where your data is held

Our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they operate under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
